A Banana A Day
We are currently loving having a freshly made banana smoothie every morning (ingredients permitting) with breakfast, and even more so once I discovered that you should have a banana a day to keep your heart that little bit healthier (via my Uncle who recently had angioplasty). It’s so quick and easy to make, and goes well with strawberries too
Recipe:
100ml Milk
75ml Natural Yoghurt
1 tablespoon Rolled Oats (not Jumbo – trust me!)
1 ripe Banana
Squeeze of runny honey (optional, but I like it)
Just put in the blender, or jug (if you only have a hand blender) and mix. Very healthy, very tasty
